Economic Empowerment

Mutual Aid & Giving

Economic empowerment means actively reinvesting in the community that builds it. Trans-First is committed to transparent, systemic support for trans individuals worldwide. To ensure our community initiatives are entirely insulated from our platform’s operating overhead, we operate a dedicated, non-custodial social equity model called the 1% Giving Loop.

The 1% Giving Loop Ledger

Every transaction processed on the Trans-First marketplace includes a transparent 1% social equity surcharge added directly to the order subtotal. Every cent generated from this surcharge is isolated into an independent, non-operational ledger. These funds are split and deployed directly across two critical support pillars:

50%
Allocation Pillar

Trans Legal Defense Funds

Half of all loop revenues are allocated straight to grassroots, trans-led legal groups providing funding for systemic civil rights defense, administrative name and gender marker changes, and protective litigation.

50%
Allocation Pillar

Emergency Mutual Aid & Housing

The remaining half is directly deployed as immediate community grants to autonomous local networks providing emergency housing, temporary crisis shelter, and relocation assistance for vulnerable trans youth.

Complete Open-Book Transparency

We believe that true community trust cannot exist without absolute corporate visibility. The 1% Giving Loop is designed as a transparent community support model. A percentage of every marketplace transaction will be allocated towards community initiatives supporting legal advocacy, emergency assistance, and mutual aid programmes.
